“In this lesson I'm going to show you how to make a pattern for the belt loops and also a pattern for the back pockets. Let's start with the belt loops. On trousers traditionally you would have five belt loops. Two that run through the centre front of each leg, two at the side seam and one that runs on the centre back. I want to show you a belt loop that is that sort of straddles and is longer than the actual waistband.
